Describe the perfect Saturday in NYC.Waking up late, having a cappuccino and going with Winky to the flea market. And having nothing else to do the rest of the day.
As someone who's worked both actively in fashion and now beauty, how important is it that these two styles complement each other?Well, I think I was very lucky to have been first in the fashion business. It enabled me to have access to the best models, makeup and hair stylists in the world, so I could let them try my products. That's how the buzz happened. Word of mouth.
What is the best beauty advice you've ever received?Always keep your skin clean and fresh.
If you were stuck with one piece of makeup what would it be?Lipstick, for sure.
From one woman to the next, whom do you admire?I admire women who juggle careers with their families, women who make a difference in the world by helping other people, and women who allow themselves to not be too affected by how they "should" look or feel. It's all right to be yourself.
